Over about a decade of establishment of Centre for Microfinance (CMF),Nepal, that is committed to establish robust microfinance market system through enabling market function, institutional strengthening and client protection; the microfinance program has on the one hand been able to increase its outreach to a significant number; on the other new challenges have emerged in and outside Nepal in this area. The management is fully committed to help overcome such challenges and translate its mission into action with long term impact. It has a mission of promoting and strengthening microfinance services through networking, capacity building, training, research, technical assistance, advisory services, knowledge management, and policy advocacy with mutual trust and cooperation among members, service revivers, practitioners, and stakeholders. CMF has demonstrated successes in practice of managing knowledge and advocacy through publication, documentation, dissemination of best practices, organizing microfinance summits, strategic collaboration with members and development partners. The mission is leading towards internalizing CMF's vision of sustainable access to financial services for the poor.

CMF values poor focus, client protection, pricing for social goal, gender equity, transparency, corporate professionalism, neutrality among credit unions, for profit and not-for profit microfinance institutions, and growth with quality.

We seek cooperation and support from members, practitioners, client of microfinance and all stakeholders for transforming the current industry to a successful one that meets social performance and financial performance standards.
